The school library media center is open from 7:45 a.m. to 3:20 p.m.

Students may check out two books over a two week period.
There is a $0.10 a day fine for overdue books. Books may be renewed.

There is a copier machine available in the library media center at a price of $0.10 per page. The copy machine does not accept dollar bills. The library media center does not keep change on hand, so please bring your own change. Printing from the student research stations is $0.10 per page also.

The library media center has 8 student computer search stations offering internet access, SIRS and EBSCO online research, Grolier encyclopedia online, and the electronic card catalog.

There is a box in the library media center for book suggestions from students. The collection is constantly expanding in the areas of resource/ research material, fiction, biographies, and special interest. The print media available is balanced for the type of research done at  KLMS, and the reading needs and interests of the student population.

The library media center sponsors one Book Fair each year in the month of February.
