Mr.
Fitzgerald, Theatre Teacher
Theatre
I is an introductory course open to students at KLMS as an exploratory
class. Students study aspects of theatrical performance
and technical aspects of theatre. Each semester each Theatre
I class produces two one-act plays: one comedy and
one
drama. Theatre II differs from theatre I in that the one act
plays consist of an adaptation of a
well-known theatrical work by a commonly known playwright like
Shakespeare or Moliere. The second play is an original written in
class, and students build stock pieces for current and future
theatrical needs. Mr. Fitzgerald has a Master's Degree from
Old Dominion University with concentrations in Language Arts
and Science. He has been teaching at Kemps Landing since 1998.
Kemps
Landing is his only assignment
to date.
